Today's my court date for my sister's custody hearing. Nervous, but not really sure why. I'm sure it won't be as dramatic as I keep thinking it will be in my head. Christmas Eve ended about 25 minutes ago, but we've only been home for about that long. Christmas Eve is traditionally spent with my family at my grandmother's. Wow. Natalie is one week old today.  Time is far too abstract a thing for me to comprehend lately.  I remember certain things vividly and others are lost in a haze.

After a great deal of trauma, fear and surprise, my daughter Natalie was born Tuesday morning at 2:12 am. I didn't get to hold or really see my little girl until yesterday afternoon.   So...I didn't get very far I guess. I had another small bleed on Wedensday, followed by more of the same Thursday morning when I went to my regular doc appointment. So they admitted me back into the hospital after doing an exam ad seeing that it wasn't a small bleed but a fairly large one, even though the blood was old.
